Wow, what an experience this cabin hunting experience has been for me. It’s been a pleasure working with you, for sure. It was a great feeling to know that you had my back, all along the way. It was obvious that you went way beyond the call of duty and my appreciation extends way beyond too. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I know I wasn’t the easiest or most cooperative of clients, yet you hung in with me; as I knit-picked my way across the North Carolina landscape. You helped me chisel down to discover the exact sort of property I really had in mind. Even thought it seemed like I was looking for a needle in a haystack, you continued to come up with and seek out the oddities of western Carolina, to suit my personality. Whether it was dense forest and seclusion or rolling hills & farmland or even a former restaurant that would have lent itself to a pleasantly unique living space; you were abundant and creative in the listings you seemed suitable to show me. Your knowledge of detail & legalities was impressive too and without hesitation you analyzed them all, to your full satisfaction and hence my protection, even referring me to my lawyer when necessary. In a whirlwind of road maintenance agreements, shared well agreements, septic permits, certificates of occupancy, etc., you covered more territory than I even knew existed. You turned over every molehill and
thus, I feel secure with the cabin I finally chose to purchase. I feel so blessed to now have a place in the land of the sky. That view from my sun porch and deck is like having a picture window into heaven. I feel so blessed also, that the former owner put soooooo much time, effort and financial resources into such quality upgrades. Your quick thinking to request all the paperwork
on all those improvements is much appreciated too. Wow. Considering the vast expanse of mountain properties we looked at, a mere .2 of a mile and not needing 4 WD, is such an added plus, considering most of my friends have normal cars. I truly appreciate your honesty regarding some of the gravel mountain roads we traveled, as being a real concern; not only because of the snowfilled winter of 2010, but also regarding rain, mud and proximity to cliff’s edge. Your concern for my safety was always evident.
I look forward to many years of enjoyment at my Cornerstone cabin retreat and I have you to thank for making that all possible.
With many thanks,
